Information
Our beef can be shipped
anywhere in the continental United States. We use UPS ground or DHL
2nd Day depending upon your location.
Orders need to be placed before Friday so that we
can process them and have them ready to be sent out on the following Monday. Monday
shipping almost always guarantees that you will receive the product on Wednesday
or Thursday.
We request that you purchase a minimum of 10 lbs. when you place an order. This will
help to reduce your shipping cost per lb. of beef purchased. The best shipping value
is on orders of approximately 35 to 40 lbs. Coordinating and placing an order together
with family or friends is a great way to do this if you don't have the freezer space
to store a large order.
We ship the beef in a Styrofoam cooler, placed within a cardboard box. The beef will
be on the bottom of the cooler. It will be packed in newspaper because we are trying
to cut down on the use of Styrofoam peanuts. There will be one or two pieces of brown
butcher paper which was wrapped around the dry ice; in most cases the dry ice will
have evaporated.
We have asked if we are able to recycle coolers and our health inspectors have said
no. Thus we send a new Styrofoam cooler with each order.
